Märklin Wide-Angle Double Slip Switch (DSS) Length 236.1 mm / 9-5/16"

Märklin turnouts combine ruggedness, electrically reliable connections, and prototypical appearance. The C Track system can be expanded as you like and can even be combined with older track systems by using special adapter tracks. The ideal track system for new beginners and advanced modelers.

Length 236.1 mm / 9-5/16". Crossing angle 12.1°. Built in 74491 electric mechanism included. Manual hand lever included. 4 each 24071 tracks are required at the ends of the double slip switch (not included with 24720). 2 roadbed filler pieces to go with the double slip switch are included. A 74477 double slip switch lantern and a 74467 digital decoder can be installed on this piece of track. The Märklin H0 system: The Märklin track systems can be combined with each other at any time thanks to adapter tracks. The functionally reliable middle conductor operation and the common ground in the two rails always remains preserved and enables great track routes without complicated wiring (examples, for reverse loops and track wyes). A perfect connection: The mechanical and electrical connection of two sections of C Track is invisible externally. The track route therefore works as a single strand, just like in the prototype. Special rail connections are not needed. Invisible strength: Thanks to this sturdy click connection on the underside of the track, the geometry of the track route can be maintained precisely, without having to screw down the track. This means you can set up and take down again quickly at any time. Everywhere! Multi-purpose space: In the roadbed structure (underside of the track) there is a lot of space to install electric turnout mechanisms or decoders, lay wiring, and much more. All of this is totally invisible externally.
