Class 272 (G2000) Diesel Locomotive

Prototype: Cargo Logistik Rail Service GmbH, Barleben, Germany, (CLR) class 272 (Vossloh G2000 BB) heavy diesel locomotive with symmetrical cabs. Crimson basic color scheme. Road number 272 204-9. The loco looks as it did starting in 2024.

Model: The locomotive has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. It also has a controlled, high-performance motor with a flywheel, centrally mounted. All four axles are powered by cardan shafts. Traction tires are fitted. Triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at no. 1 and no. 2 ends can be turned off separately in digital operation. There is a double “A” light function. The cab lighting in each cab can be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free, warm-white, and red LEDs are used for the lighting. A buffer capacitor is fitted. The model has many separately applied details. There are metal railings on the sides of the locomotive. The buffer beams are detailed. Brake hoses and imitation screw couplers are included separately for installation on the loco. The end covers included can also be mounted on the buffer beams. Length over the buffers 20 cm / 7-7/8".
